JFL Consulting is a security firm with more than 20 years serving federal agencies, the Department of Defense, and major commercial enterprises, but its site did not reflect that credibility. It needed to speak to two sides of the business at once: a broad portfolio of cybersecurity and IT consulting, and a hardware division anchored by its patented Mobile Air Cyber Kit.
A sample of key screens from the rebrand and rebuild, including the services overview, the product and Mobile Air Cyber Kit pages, and the eCommerce and support experiences. The design aimed to feel professional, secure, and trustworthy while making it easy for both government and commercial buyers to navigate a wide range of services and products.
The engagement began with discovery and brand work to understand JFL Consulting's services, product division, and the federal and commercial audiences it serves. From there the team mapped the site architecture and content so the consulting side and the product side each had a clear path, then moved into UI/UX design and high-fidelity mockups that reflected a secure, authoritative tone. Design In DC built the site in WordPress, stood up the eCommerce store on WooCommerce, and developed the custom client support portal before carrying everything through testing and launch. After rollout, the relationship continued as a long-term partnership covering content writing, marketing, hosting, and maintenance.
